Our History:
Supply Chain Toolworks was founding in 2001 by Lorine DeHuff and Stephen Johanson, two management consultants from the firms of AT Kearney and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Their specialty was business and operations strategy for food and beverage companies. They took what was once a set of expensive management consulting engagements and created a business process and software solution that companies could bring in house.
In 2003, they began developing the Operations Strategy Planner to support this fulfill this vision. Their methodology was tested and refined in over 50 organizations where it had significant ROI’s for every facility. Their process earned on average $1,000,000 in real cash flow improvements per manufacturing plant.
In 2009, Dr. Vijay Hanagandi brought his expertise to the company. Known for his work in Operations Research and Optimization, he and his team helped build the second generation of the company’s signature product, the Operations Strategy Planner (OSP).
The web deployed version of OSP was released in 2010 and represents a new paradigm in supply chain computing. Now companies can make advanced planning, analysis, and strategy development a core competency to their operations departments. And they can do it:
